IF you ask me: Lefties are the true opressed minority
I know, your saying what! You have to be crazy! Yet, think about it. There are groups fighting for the rights of gays, African Americans, immigrants, and almost any other group you can think of. Today, cars, notebooks, computers, kitchen gadgets and many other things are made for the ease of use for a right hander. If you want that fixed for a left hander, you have to pay big bucks. This all may sound trivial but, every year there are deaths attributed to left handers for this very reason. Lefties are more likely to die in an accident than any other group of people. We are forced to maneuver our lives in a right handed world. People do not take the problems we face seriously. A little compassion would be nice! I am truly not actually putting a left handed problems on the level of exactly a human rights issue. I am not even asking for laws to protect us. That would add to the problem, I think. I am just saying a little extra thought into somethings made in this world would be nice. Some equity in price would be nice. At the store I see spiral notebooks with 100 pages for like .99$ and then a similar notebook for lefties (with the spiral on top) and this notebook costs like 3.50$. What is up with that? Do they assume lefties have more money? Are they patting themselves for thinking of such an idea that they have to charge so much more? Not really fair- is it.

Question from Mar.- Better off with out TV
My good friend Mar (who also writes on another site) gave me this question.
What would happen if people suddenly lost interest in television and the internet and suddenly became (more) interested in books? Would we be better off? Would there be war? Can you really answer these questions in a no-nonsense, completely feasible way?
My answer might surprise you but, I think that world is a better place because of TV and the internet. Sure, there are draw backs. Sure TV depicts violence and sex. There is porn on the internet and the freedom can make some a little crazy.
The fast is- we know more about the world and other people around the world than ever before. It has made the world a smaller place. We get to see and hear about the stuff that happens almost as soon as it happens, by the people who are experiencing it. Sure, it can be over whelming. Sure, we can numb to it all. As we get better and better about how to file all the information we receive in a day in our brain then, we can full use the potential that TV and the Internet has to offer. We can be as informed as we want to be. That is truly fantastic. That is really the beginning of a free world.
Books are great! I love books. But, while many see TV as competition to books, they really serve a different purpose (yet similar). Yes they are informative and entertaining. They are like a movie you can pick up at anytime. They give you insight into a person, place, or event. They were never meant to keep you updated on the most current events. They go deeper. They give you background.
A well read person will not only read books. Then even if you have read a thousand books you are not truly "well read" unless you are open to all types of publications. You should have a foot in what is really going on it the world.

IF you ask me: Blue tooth ear pieces
It you ask me is a section where, when I don't have any questions to answer, I will answer my own questions. I have to do something until a get a reader or two.
Is it rude to where those Blue Tooth ear pieces ever where?
Absolutely! They are the most annoying things ever. Now, I do understand their purpose of them. They are sure nice to have when you are talking on the phone but, realize when you are walking around everywhere, people think that you are talking to yourself. Also, do you get so many calls that it must be on your ear at all time? They are not earrings, they are not decorative, they are just ugly.
Sadly, because of cell phones in general we are never really where we physically are. We are always talking to someone some place else. That means we are never really in the present.
How can we really get anywhere if we can never just be with ourselves. I see people furiously dialing people on their cell phones in their cars. They just can't be in your car with their thoughts. How will anyone know who they really are if they can not just be.
I say, it is time to leave your cell phone at home and just be where ever you are in the world. In the not too distant past, when you were not home, they couldn't get a hold of you. In the case of an emergency we used a pay phone or got help from a good Samaritan. How are we going to meet new people if we spend all of our time talking to people we already know. No wonder people are lonelier than ever.

Question from Akane.
I want to thank my friend Akane for sending me my first question.
He has his own blog. Check it out!
Hello its your buddy Akane I saw your blog and do you think we should
use fossil fuels?
Of course we should not really use fossil fuel but, sadly we have to right now. In many parts of the United States we not only use it in our cars, we heat our homes with it.
The answer is that we need to somehow use less. How do we do that? Well, the next time you are in the market for a car- get a hybrid. When it is time to replace your home's heater- get one that doesn't need oil. Until then, drive less. You can do this by grouping your errands, getting stuff on your way home form work (since you are already there), walk, car pool, and/or take public trans. Also take car of your car and check the tire pressure. If your tire pressure is low, you are leaking fluids, or your car is not running right: you car is not as efficient as it could be and you are polluting more because of this.
When heating you home lower the temp as much as you can stand it and where more clothes, put a blanket on the couch, and an extra one or two on you bed.
We should make it a daily priority to use as little fossil fuel as we can. We can start today and work hard at a nation that is not dependent on fossil fuel!
Thanks again Akane!

Polly the Parate

Pollina the person with the answers.
Yes, I do have the answers. No, I don't know everything. See I am so good at this that I can answer questions before anyone even asks me. Really you can ask me anything, and I will work hard on providing an answer! I do have many areas of expertise and many friends who can advise me as well. I have plenty of life experience to draw from as well. I am not sure if we need a list but, I can provide one. Maybe if someone asks.
So go ahead and ask me a question:)
